Beverly Hills

Beverly Hills is bordered by the city of Los Angeles.  In spite of the city’s name, most residents live in the flats which are the surface streets of Beverly Hills, which is a relatively flat land which includes all of Beverly Hills itself.  The houses positioned in the hillside north of Sunset Boulevard have a considerable greater value than the ordinary housing price for the rest of the city.  Santa Monica Boulevard splits the flats into two areas, locally known as North or South of the tracks. In addition, almost all businesses and government offices in Beverly Hills are located south of Santa Monica Blvd.  Although, two prominent exceptions are The Beverly Hills Hotel and The Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Beverly Hills Unified School District, which includes four K-8 schools (Hawthorne, El Rodeo, Beverly Vista, and Horace Mann), Moreno High School, and the Beverly Hills High School.

Private schools
Beverly Hills also has quite a few private schools.  Good Shepherd School, a PreK-8 school in Beverly Hills, is a part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles, Beverly Hills Preparatory School, Harkham Hillel Hebrew Academy, Emanuel Academy of Beverly Hills, and Page Private School.
